A Journey from Cuba to Our Kitchen

A Journey from Cuba to Our Kitchen

The story of Señor Pan Café begins with Rafael and Katherine came from Cuba. Like many families, they arrived with dreams of building a better future. Over the years, they worked in the restaurant industry while holding onto their cultural roots. Eventually, their dream of owning a business became reality, allowing them to share the flavors and traditions of their homeland.

Flavors Inspired by Cuban Heritage

Food at Señor Pan Café is inspired by the comforting recipes of Abuela’s kitchen. Cuban cuisine blends influences from Mediterranean, African, and Spanish cultures, creating dishes that are both simple and rich in flavor. Every meal is prepared with care to honor these traditions and celebrate the diverse culinary heritage of Cuba. Each bite brings guests closer to the warmth and authenticity of the island.
More Than A Meal, A Cultural Experience

More Than A Meal, A Cultural Experience

Since opening in Chicago in 2007 as a sandwich shop, Señor Pan Café has grown into a place where culture and community come together. Guests don’t just enjoy great food they experience Cuban hospitality and family tradition. The name “Señor Pan” reflects a Cuban saying used when a sandwich is truly exceptional. Today, the café continues that tradition by welcoming everyone to enjoy a true taste of Cuba.
